Hi! I am Taufiq Hasan. I was born and brought up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This page gives a short summary of me and my activities. It is separated into three sections: academic, research and artistic.

Academic page is about my teaching. I have been working as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at United International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am currently on leave from UIU so this section of my webpage is no longer updated.

I am a Ph. D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Texas at Dallas, working in the Center of Robust Speech Systems (CRSS) laboratory. The research page mostly about my work in CRSS as a researcher.

The artistic, is about my extra-curricular activities. I have been playing music, singing songs and involved with other media related works. I have recorded my first music album having nine original songs. You can check it out here. Also I have published a few music videos telecasted in Bangladesh and also available in my Youtube channel.
