Research

My broad research area is Statistical signal processing mainly applied to speech signals. I have completed my B.Sc. (2006) and M.Sc. (2008) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My M.Sc. was on Speech enhancement. I have joined the Center for Robust Speech Systems (CRSS) laboratory in 2008 and currently pursuing my Ph.D. in area of Speaker identification/verification.

Research Interests

  • NIST speaker recognition evaluations.
  • Speaker recognition under channel and microphone mismatched conditions.
  • Automatic highlights generation from sports video.
  • Speech enhancement for speech/speaker recognition.
  • Applications of the Empirical mode decomposition.
